Job summary

SoftWriters seeks a Product Owner to own a product area end-to-end and shape the future of healthcare technology. You will prioritize the backlog, define product direction, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver value for LTC pharmacies.

In this hybrid Pittsburgh role, you’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, UX, and Customer teams, validating solutions with customers and stakeholders while advancing AI-enabled capabilities and scalable workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
2+ years in software product management or ownership.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering solutions.
Ability to validate needs with customers and stakeholders.
Experience with AI-enabled features is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own and prioritize the product backlog to maximize customer value and business impact.
Define and communicate product direction with Product Management.
Make independent trade-offs across enhancements, defects, and operations.
Lead release planning and coordinate delivery across engineering, QA, and teams.
Work with customers and stakeholders to validate needs and solutions.
Ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are clear and actionable.
Monitor delivery outcomes and adjust priorities based on data.
Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to workflows.
Define direction, success criteria, and guardrails for AI-enabled capabilities.
