Job summary

Cypress Healthcare Partners/Salinas Valley Health Clinics in Salinas, CA seeks a Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations and drive high-quality care with a patient-focused approach. This role aims to improve the clinic’s financial health and long-term sustainability while collaborating with practice lead physicians.

Responsibilities include managing all aspects of the clinic operation, supervising staff, performing financial analyses, and monitoring revenue cycle metrics in partnership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or Master’s degree with a healthcare focus preferred.
• Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) highly desirable.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical practice manager. The ideal candidate has worked in a practice of more than 5 physicians.
• Financial expertise in healthcare fiscal management.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the assigned practice/facility operation.
• Participate in staff selection, training and supervision.
• Perform financial and cost-benefit analyses on projects.
• Review clinical, financial and operating reports to guide decisions.
• Monitor revenue cycle metrics with billing/collection teams.
• Improve patient satisfaction and experience via surveys and social media.
• Communicate effectively with leaders and team members.
• Understand HIPAA, regulatory issues and compensation plan methodologies.
• Work with EMR and practice management systems.
