Job summary

A healthcare consultancy is seeking a Provider Performance & Coding Consultant to lead projects and empower medical practices to improve healthcare delivery. This hands-on role involves client engagement, training providers on coding best practices, and optimizing workflows. The ideal candidate will have medical coding experience and a background in healthcare regulations. The position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This role offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Qualifications

• Certification from AAPC or AHIMA required.
• Experience with practice transformation or process improvement is a plus.
• Knowledge of MIPS and clinical operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage client projects from kickoff to completion.
• Train providers on documentation and coding practices.
• Support EHR adoption and recommend workflow improvements.
• Educate clients on healthcare regulations.
