The position requires either state clerical experience at Office Assistant, Range B level or two years of typing/clerical work.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in California state service performing clerical duties at a level of responsibility equivalent to that of an Office Assistant, Range B.
• Two years of experience in typing and clerical work. Education beyond the twelfth grade may substitute for one year of general experience, as described in the bulletin.
• To obtain list eligibility for Office Technician (Typing), you must pass the examination: Exam Bulletin - Office Technician (Typing).
