The role blends theory with production-ready systems, including real-time data and EMR integrations. Ideal candidates hold an MS or PhD in a quantitative field, with strong ML and deep learning expertise, and a track record of impactful publications and open-source

Qualifications

• PhD/MS in EE/CS/Math or equivalent with strong ML background.
• Publications at peer-reviewed AI conferences.
• Proven real-world impact with open source contributions.

Responsibilities

• Advance the state of the art in medical NLP, including conversation summarization and evaluation techniques.
• Publish original research and contribute to broader research community.
• Define problems, select baselines, develop methods, and ship to production.
• Incorporate real-time clinician feedback to guide refinements.
• Remain results-oriented when facing ambiguous outcomes.
