Job summary

Crothall Healthcare in Bedford, TX is hiring a maintenance technician for a 1st shift (7am to 3:30pm, M-F). You will perform a variety of maintenance duties in a healthcare environment, troubleshoot equipment, and support building systems.

This role requires experience with building automation, strong communication, and a valid driver's license; the job offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience as a maintenance worker/technician preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting equipment sets, replacing plumbing fixtures, rodding drains and pipes, identifying and stopping leaks.
• Supervising and making adjustments to the building automation system for patient/staff comfort.
• Generator testing and inspections, replacing light fixtures and light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles and responding to general building issues.
• Using drawings, wiring diagrams, operations & maintenance manuals for troubleshooting, diagnosing and making repairs.
• Coordinating specialized work with vendors and contractors.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks on the emergency power system, emergency lighting, ice machines and refrigerators, HVAC equipment and other building systems as assigned.
• Conduct building and mechanical room inspections in accordance with maintenance program.
