Job summary

Responsibilities include delivering laundry, maintaining a clean area, and reporting needed repairs. High school degree preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Folds and sorts laundry (blankets, sheets, towels, clothing).
• Hangs clothes on racks according to name and number.
• Delivers patient laundry to designated areas.
• Ensures clothes are ready to wear and in good condition.
• Operates washers and dryers with proper detergents/chemicals.
• Follows MSDS precautions for all chemicals used.
• Maintains clean and organized laundry area; follows schedules.
• Keeps equipment clean and performs routine maintenance reports.
