Job summary

Responsibilities include handling soiled linens, operating washers/irons, and ensuring par-level inventory with excellent internal customer service. Physical tasks include lifting and prolonged standing in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a service role or healthcare environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic hospital terminology and processes.
• Demonstrates strong customer service, teamwork and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver linen to patient care areas and nursing stations.
• Stock shelves and carts to established par levels and manage exchange system.
• Load and operate washing machines and ironer/folder equipment per instructions.
• Follow infection control guidelines while handling soiled linen and supplies.
• Assist with inventory, quality monitoring, and cost-conscious use of supplies.
