Job summary

Healthcare Services Group Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, ensure sanitation, and support residents and staff with courteous service.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to infection control policies. Prior laundry experience is welcome but not required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and effective communication with occupants, administration and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Work around cleaning products and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
