Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to ensure clean linens and clothing for residents in a long-term care facility. You will collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute items, operate laundry equipment safely, and maintain records of activities.

We value a positive attitude, clear communication, and the ability to follow infection control procedures. Residency within the service area is required; previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
