Job summary

NOVO Health Services, LLC is hiring for a full-time Associate to support linen management for healthcare facilities. The role involves sorting, moving, and processing soiled linen and operating equipment to ensure safe, efficient flow through the washing and distribution process.

Responsibilities include coordinating with baggers and sorters, inspecting carts, and maintaining a steady work pace while adhering to safety and infection-control standards.

Responsibilities

• Move soiled cart from storage area to dumper and load onto conveyor.
• Notify bagger by voice when facility changes occurs and ensure bags fall onto conveyor.
• Inspect carts for defects and label damaged ones for maintenance; route to cart washer.
• Position carts for automatic system and ensure proper dumping onto conveyor.
• Move full hamper bags and heavy soil slings to monorail loading area; replace with empty sling.
• Sort plastic bags into designated containers for recycling or disposal; ensure flow of work.
• Start/stop conveyor as needed; ensure equipoise with other shifts.
• Prepare linen for sorters by pulling apart rolled items and grouping similar items.
