Job summary

The Good Samaritan is seeking a dedicated laundry/Facilities aide for our Bismarck, ND location. This full-time role handles daily laundry tasks, from sorting to distributing linens, while following infection prevention guidelines and location policies.

Responsibilities include washing, drying, folding, labeling, and proper storage of linens. You will lift up to 50 lbs and may work varied shifts, with a comprehensive benefits package and a sign-on bonus where eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to use a computer and has prior cleaning experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of materials, equipment and cleaning methods is helpful.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day laundry tasks to maintain a clean environment for a health care organization.
• Follow infection prevention guidelines when handling contaminated laundry.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold linens and distribute clean items per location procedures.
• Operate and secure laundry supplies and equipment per location policies.
• Lift up to 30-50lbs and push/pull up to 500lbs; stand for long periods; PPE used as required.
• May include overtime, call coverage, nights, weekends, and holidays depending on location.
