Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Laundry Technician to manage washing, drying, folding and sorting linens and clothing for residents and patients in Miami.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, basic computer skills and English proficiency; prior healthcare laundry experience is preferred. This is an on-site position with infection control practices in place.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English.
• Prior healthcare laundry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, wash, dry, sort and return clothing per schedule.
• Label unlabeled resident and patient clothing and linens.
• Mend torn personal clothing articles.
• Sort and count items to verify against the laundry list.
• Fill linen carts and deliver to the appropriate unit.
• Complete pressing as directed.
• Keep work area sanitized and orderly, following safety rules.
• Float to other units as assigned and participate in training.
