Ohio Living is seeking a Laundry Associate to manage daily laundry operations, including collection, laundering, distribution, and inventory of linens for residents and staff. Responsibilities include pressing, folding, and distributing clean laundry, maintaining supplies, and documenting activities.

Qualifications

• Tenth grade education required.
• One year laundry experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Performs the laundry functions, including collection, laundering, redistribution, and inventory of linens and personal laundry.
• Presses/irons garments as instructed.
• Folds, counts, stacks, hangs, and distributes clean laundry to residents and linen closets daily or as instructed.
• Ensures adequate supply of laundry and linen supplies in laundry closets to meet residents and staff needs.
• Maintains quality, infection control and universal precautions in laundry procedures.
• Reports damages or repairs to supervisor and suggests improvements.
• Maintains records through use of computers or other documentation per standards.
• Attends all-employee and department meetings and in-service training.
• Listens to residents and staff needs and respects rights while performing duties.
• May be assigned other duties as needed.
