Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, a provider of laundry and related services for long-term care facilities, seeks a Laundry Worker to ensure clean, available linens and garments for residents and staff.

You will operate laundry equipment, follow infection control policies, and interact positively with residents and staff while handling daily laundry tasks and related duties. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service in a care-setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
