Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will ensure cleanliness and availability, interacting with residents and staff to deliver excellent service.

The role requires physical ability and adherence to infection control policies, with on-site work in a long-term care setting. Training and support are provided; prior laundry experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with staff and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, and stand/sit/bend/walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
