Job summary

Located in Macon, GA, this full-time position runs on a 1st shift schedule. On-the-job training is provided, and prior healthcare laundering experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience with laundry operations and care of textiles preferred.
• Familiarity with safety data sheets (SDS/MSDS) and chemical handling.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and maintain organized work areas.

Responsibilities

• Tends laundering machines and loads articles with appropriate detergents.
• Sorts and folds laundry, ensuring correct placement and readiness for use.
• Maintains cleanliness of laundry area and equipment per policy.
• Operates washers, dryers, and related controls; reports any malfunctions.
• Adheres to safety procedures and MSDS guidelines for all chemicals used.
