You will operate laundry equipment safely, ensure timely distribution, and support daily operations to uphold facility standards. The role emphasizes good communication with staff and residents, adherence to infection control, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area required

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
