Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA is hiring a Warehouse Specialist in Houston, TX. This part-time role (20 hours/week) focuses on transporting reports, specimens, and supplies between the laboratory and provider locations while maintaining excellent customer service.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training on PHI handling and safety is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record for the past three years.
• Comfort operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions; capable of light to medium lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Bonus points for 2+ years of driving for business and knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Transport reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations.
• Ensure proper specimen handling and safe operation of a motor vehicle, rain or shine.
• Interact with clients to provide customer-focused service and support.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
