Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for a full-time SHIFT SUPERVISOR at Ochsner Medical Center Hancock in Bay Saint Louis, MS. The role directs associates on a shift, ensures completion of tasks, and maintains policies and procedures.

The schedule is 5:00 am to 7:00 pm, Sunday through Saturday. 2 years of food service, leadership and hospitality experience is preferred. Willing to train and support a collaborative team focused on quality and patient care.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Hospitality industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensure that assigned job expectations are completed while policies are followed.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers and discipline underperformers.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure quality, productivity and safety goals are met.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or time-off requests.
• Mentor and develop employees and support advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
