Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest is seeking a Cook to prepare, season, and cook a wide variety of food items in accordance with menus and production sheets. You will maintain a clean, sanitary work area and coordinate with production staff on recipes and portions.

Under general supervision, you will follow HACCP guidelines, use proper equipment, and participate in training to grow within the kitchen and healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Quantity cooking experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, prepares, seasons, and cooks a wide variety of food items following menus and production sheets.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area.
• Adheres to HACCP/food safety guidelines and procedures.
• Communicates with production staff regarding menus, recipes and portion sizes.
• Participates in training with other production staff to develop within the industry.
