Job summary

Forefront is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable dining areas in our healthcare environment. You will follow policies, assist in meal service, and support resident well-being while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

The role requires basic English communication, attention to sanitation, and willingness to work flexible hours. On-the-job training is provided, and full-time team members are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English and understand diet orders, tray cards, and work assignments.
• Numerical ability is necessary for recipe preparation and proper measuring of cleaning agents and chemicals.
• Sanitation and Safety Practices, use of gloves while handling dishes required.
• Thoroughness at handling soiled dishes, serving trays, operating dietary equipment and cleaning work areas.
• Time Management with the ability to and willingness to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Assist in arranging trays, loading food carts, and serving meals.
• Setting up the dining room and serving residents.
• Wash and store dishes.
• Sweep, mop, and take out the trash.
• Keep all areas clean in dining areas and reporting supply needs.
