Lionakis in Oakland is seeking an experienced Job Captain for the Healthcare team. The role focuses on leading construction document production, coordinating with architects, and ensuring healthcare regulatory compliance across multiple projects.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ years of architectural experience, BIM/Revit proficiency, and familiarity with OSHPD/HCAI. Hybrid work options and a strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years architectural project experience.
• Proficient with BIM/Revit, MS Office Suite, and Bluebeam.
• Healthcare projects OSHPD/HCAI experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead production and coordination of construction documents, ensuring alignment with healthcare codes, standards, and consultant work.
• Collaborate with project architects to resolve design, program, and regulatory requirements (OSHPD/HCAI, agency approvals).
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors across all project phases to maintain project continuity.
• Support development of bid and construction packages and assist with construction administration activities.
• Track and communicate impacts to scope, budget, schedule, and risk, including client or consultant-driven changes.
• Contribute to project planning, enforce QA/QC standards, and ensure compliance with firm and healthcare design protocols.
• Delegate tasks, mentor junior staff, and support team deliverables, presentations, and multi-project workflows.
