Job summary

Pioneers Medical Center is seeking an IT security leader to develop and manage a comprehensive information security program for hospital systems. You will craft an architecture roadmap, create security policies, and advise senior leadership on risk decisions.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in information security or related field, 4+ years in IT leadership, and hospital IT experience. A Master’s degree is preferred and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• At least four years in an IT leadership role.
• Experience with IT in a hospital setting required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and improve a comprehensive information security program.
• Develop an IT security architecture roadmap with controls.
• Develop, maintain, and promote information security policies and standards.
• Ensure controls comply with policies, contracts, and regulations (HIPAA).
• Create and manage security awareness training for all users.
• Provide strategic risk guidance for IT projects and standards.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize IT risks to hospital data and systems.
• Perform IT risk evaluations and audits.
• Develop contingency plans, disaster recovery, and risk management systems.
• Determine information security strategies and enforce standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
