Job summary

Community Health Systems seeks a Director, Information Systems in Corsicana, TX to provide strategic and operational leadership for the hospital's IT environment. You will safeguard system integrity, reliability, and security, aligning technology with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or Seven (7) plus years of direct experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in closely related field with Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years of previous leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of hospital information systems, ensuring system stability and availability.
• Manages servers, networks, data storage, and security to support efficient operations.
• Coordinates system upgrades and maintenance with clinical, financial, and operational teams to minimize disruptions.
• Performs systems analysis to identify improvements and implement sustainable solutions.
• Serves as liaison between departments, vendors, and IT resources to align local technology initiatives with enterprise standards.
• Defines and monitors departmental performance objectives and system metrics.
