UC Irvine is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to design high-quality solution architectures spanning business, information, application, and infrastructure layers. This role aligns architecture with business blueprints, delivery constraints and enterprise framework services to deliver flexible, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

The incumbent will lead governance decisions, manage end-to-end processes, and integrate applications across numerous hospital and health system

Competenze

• Substantial understanding of mapping data from systems outside an EMR/Epic, such as third party vendors and/or large file uploads into IT-supported systems, including Epic
• Previous project management / lead experience
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Must be willing and able to work occasional weekends and evenings as needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Demonstrated organizational and project management skills
• Demonstrated experience of integrating applications across all facets of a Health System including Billing, Registration, HIM, Inpatient, Ambulatory, Emergency/Urgent Cares and Surgical areas, as well as HL7 integration of third party systems with an EMR/Epic
• Demonstrated ability in determining how technology can be applied to meet business needs
• Broad knowledge of business process including disaster recovery, business continuity and risk management
• Bachelors degree in related area and/or equivalent experience and training
• Ability to take creative and abstract concepts and produce a solid application framework
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
• Ability to discover and define technical requirements and their relationship to functional requirements and to determine the adequacy of documented requirements for architecture definition
• Ability to design and manage high-level projects, lead governance decision making and development of end-to-end processes
• 10 plus years experience architecting, developing, deploying, and supporting complex computing applications in a medium to large scale environment, or equivalent experience
