Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to handle daily ordering and replenishment of disposable medical supplies across acute and non-acute settings.

The role supports right-sizing inventory, improving efficiencies, and driving change at clinical departments including OR, Cath Lab, and ED. The candidate will liaison with customers to resolve issues, communicate clearly, and troubleshoot with accuracy and initiative.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in inventory management, healthcare, or project management preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Customer service, problem solving and analytical skills highly desired.
• Optional travel up to 30%, depending on business needs and employee preference.

Responsibilities

• Daily: Order and replenish stocking locations.
• Process on demand requests.
• Asset location management and upkeep (housekeeping).
• Manage customer relationships.
• Provide back-order resolution and mitigation.
