Job summary

Prosum is seeking an Interface Analyst Level 3 in Pomona, CA to design, configure, and support HL7 interfaces within healthcare IT systems. You will translate business needs into technical specs, work with HL7 messages, and leverage HL7 engines (Openlink preferred) to enable robust integrations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in systems analysis and integration, including 3+ years in healthcare settings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
At least 5 years in systems analysis and integration, with 3+ years in healthcare.
Experience with HL7 and FHIR standards is highly desirable.
Proficiency in HL7 integration and HL7 interface engines (Openlink preferred).
Strong data mapping, interface design, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Systems Analysis & Design: analyze, design, configure, and support information systems solutions.
Requirements Gathering: translate business needs into technical specifications and HL7 interface requirements.
HL7 Interface Development: develop HL7 interfaces and analyze HL7 messages for downstream needs.
Solution Evaluation: assess integration capabilities of internal/external solutions.
Process Mapping & Integration: map workflows and coordinate integration testing and documentation.
Troubleshooting: independently resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Project Management: participate in medium to large projects and collaborate across teams.
