Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, AR is seeking an Insurance Claims Analyst to review and process medical insurance claims, verify patient information, and resolve coding or billing discrepancies. The role requires 2+ years in hospital billing, knowledge of ICD-10/CPT, and proficiency with MS Office and claims management software; the position is full-time, on-site, Monday–Friday.

You will work with payor portals and internal teams to ensure timely reimbursements, maintain

Qualifications

High School graduate or GED.
2+ years of billing/claims experience in a hospital/clinic setting preferred.
Basic working knowledge of MS Office.
Knowledge of medical terminology, MS-DRG coding, ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.

Responsabilités

Analyze insurance claims to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policy guidelines.
Verify patient information and check for errors in billing and coding.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies, such as claim denials or billing issues, with providers and internal teams.
Provide timely follow-up on outstanding AR using payor portals and other systems.
Ensure claims are processed efficiently and reimbursements paid correctly and on time.
Maintain detailed records of claims and prepare reports on data trends and performance.
Maintain AR collection of claims at less than 30 days of account age.
