Quincy Medical Group is seeking an Insurance Biller to support revenue cycle operations by submitting insurance claims and resolving denials. The role involves collaboration with insurance companies, providers, coders, and internal teams to maximize reimbursement.

The position is full-time in Quincy, IL with a hybrid schedule after six months, in a professional office setting dedicated to revenue cycle processes.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in medical billing or revenue cycle preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 and insurance claim processes preferred.
• Experience with EMR and healthcare billing systems preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Submit electronic and paper insurance claims accurately and within deadlines.
• Review claims for completeness and accuracy prior to submission.
• Monitor claim status and follow up with insurance carriers regarding unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, rejections, and payment variances.
• Correct claim errors and coordinate resubmissions when appropriate.
• Communicate with insurance companies, providers, coders, and internal departments to resolve claim issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of billing activities and payer communications.
• Stay current on payer guidelines, reimbursement policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor assigned work queues to ensure timely claim resolution and reimbursement.
• Identify trends that impact reimbursement and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, payer regulations, and organizational policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support revenue cycle operations.
