Elevance Health is seeking an Info Security Executive Advisor for the CareBridge BISO to lead security and risk management for an assigned business unit. You will connect business and technology leaders, coordinate enterprise security services, and guide incident response with executive-level communication.

The role requires embedding security leadership across divisions, aligning with enterprise priorities, and driving secure-by-design practices while mentoring teams across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Requires BS/BA in Information Technology or related field.
• 10+ years in systems administration and security aspects of information systems, access management and network security technologies.
• Experience with HIPAA/HITRUST and regulatory compliance preferred.

Responsabilités

• Leads Information Security and Risk Management for an assigned Business Unit.
• Leads Information Security and Technology Risk Management for an assigned Business Unit, ensuring alignment with enterprise security strategy and regulatory obligations.
• Serves as primary business-facing contact for information security and technology risk matters; coordinates security capabilities and services.
• Acts as lead during incident response, ensuring executive communication and remediation.
• Owns development and execution of the Business Unit security roadmap aligned with priorities and risk tolerance.
• Identifies and prioritizes opportunities to reduce risk and improve security outcomes.
• Participates in enterprise planning including vendor and third-party risk assessment and architecture alignment.
• Leads for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures; due diligence and integration planning.
• Establishes governance forums to assess, mitigate, or escalate security risk.
• Provides security leadership for healthcare regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HITRUST, state laws).
• Defines, tracks, and reports security metrics to stakeholders.
• Translates technical risk into business and financial impact; advocates secure-by-design practices.
• Mentors security capabilities within the Business Unit and enterprise teams.
