Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department at our life plan community in Willoughby, Ohio. You will ensure clean, safe, comfortable environments for residents, supervise staff, and coordinate with Culinary, Maintenance, and Therapy teams to maintain high standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, IEHA certification preferred, and at least two years of housekeeping operations management experience in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Executive Housekeeper designation from IEHA preferred.
• Two years experience in housekeeping operations management.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and assigns housekeeping tasks to departmental staff and ensures tasks are performed in accordance with established housekeeping procedures.
• Ensures cleaning, washing, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, etc. are performed to meet the needs of residents and staff members.
• Staffs department and schedules accordingly to meet the necessary requirements for departmental needs.
• Coordinates services and activities with other departments to ensure the continuity of care.
• Assists in developing and maintaining housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Maintains safety and infection control practices within housekeeping operations.
• Monitors accountability and supports staff development and training.
