Job summary

Serene Health Services is seeking Housekeepers and Laundry Attendants for Per Diem, 1st or 2nd Shift with rotating weekend and holiday coverage. Maintains assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly, attractive manner in accordance with established procedures, as directed by supervisor, to assure the highest standard of cleanliness.

Must understand English, be knowledgeable of healthcare housekeeping practices, and able to make independent decisions.

• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Willingness to adopt new cleaning methods and principles.
• Economical use of supplies and proper care of equipment.
• Able to keep up with work demand and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly, attractive condition according to established procedures as directed by supervisor.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Perform additional duties as needed and assigned by supervisor.
