Paulding Care Community in Ohio is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to maintain clean and sanitary resident rooms, common areas, and facilities in a healthcare setting.

You will follow cleaning schedules, use PPE when needed, interact respectfully with residents, and work with teams to complete tasks, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to schedules and procedures.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and disinfect floors, furniture and surfaces.
• Dispose of trash and hazardous materials following proper waste management protocols.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, towels, and toilet paper in restrooms and common areas.
• Change bed linens, towels, and other resident room supplies as needed and transport soiled linens to laundry area.
• Follow safety guidelines and infection control protocols, including PPE use.
• Interact with residents in a friendly and respectful manner while performing cleaning duties.
• Assist residents with minor requests as within scope of the position.
• Work closely with housekeeping staff and facility departments to complete tasks efficiently.
• Communicate supply shortages or equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
