Job summary

Riverton Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for residents and staff. The role emphasizes infection control, safety, and teamwork in a sub-acute and long-term care setting.

The position offers a $16/hour rate with daily pay options and a schedule that includes every other weekend, 7 AM to 3 PM. Join a dedicated team focused on high-quality care and resident comfort.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow established safety precautions when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned duties in accordance with established housekeeping standards, safety guidelines, and infection control practices.
• Clean assigned areas, including resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining rooms, shower rooms, public restrooms, and offices.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment, furnishings, and supplies according to established procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean, organized manner, stocking necessary supplies at the end of each shift, and ensuring that chemicals not in use remain securely stored.
• Follow all established safety precautions and manufacturer guidelines when handling and using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas of the facility maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance.
