Job summary

The Physicians Centre Hospital in Bryan, TX is seeking a part-time Environmental Services/Housekeeping associate. The role reports to the Director of Support Services and focuses on cleaning assigned areas, stocking supplies, and ensuring rapid turnover between cases or patient visits.

Responsibilities include room cleaning, project cleaning (walls, vents, windows, lights), and adherence to aseptic technique and safety precautions when handling chemicals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
• Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective use of chemicals cleaning agents and safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas assigned and maintain supplies for rapid turnover between cases or patients.
• Perform project cleaning tasks such as wall washing, vents, windows, and lights as scheduled.
• Follow aseptic technique, standard precautions and safe handling of chemical cleaners.
• Work under pressure with patience, tact, stamina and endurance while adhering to safety protocols.
