Job summary

PruittHealth Hospitals and Health Care is seeking a part-time Housekeeper (AL) to provide cleaning services that create a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and the public.

Responsibilities include floor care, room cleaning, trash removal, and infection control adherence. On-the-job training is provided, with preferred high school diploma or equivalent and prior healthcare housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous healthcare housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, damp mops, and wet mops tile floors following center procedures
• Vacuum carpets in patient/resident rooms as applicable
• Empty trash, clean interior/exterior, and replace liners
• Clean bathroom sinks, fixtures, and toilets
• Clean glass surfaces (mirrors, windows)
• Dust and clean surfaces behind furnishings
• Follow infection control standards during cleaning
• Prevent wax/dirt buildup around baseboards and doors
• Change soiled privacy curtains and draperies as needed
• Remove and re-hang curtains and draperies for outside windows
• Dust/damp clean surfaces in patient/resident rooms
• Move furniture to clean behind/underneath
• Turn bed mattresses after cleaning
