Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, part of Compass Group, invites applications for a full-time HOUSEKEEPER at the University of VA Health System in Charlottesville, VA. The role performs light cleaning duties to maintain hospitals and other facilities, including bed making, linen replenishment, rooms and corridors cleaning, and vacuuming.

The schedule is full-time with rotating weekends; prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Disposes of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes up beds and changes linens as required.
