Mountain Laurel Recovery Center in Westfield, Pennsylvania seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for clients. Responsibilities include daily cleaning, linen handling, and adherence to infection control standards, with required CPR/de-escalation certification training available.

The role is onsite with opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained clinical setting, including handling cleaning equipment and supplies while ensuring safety and sanitation for residents

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping in a commercial, clinical, or healthcare environment preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, speaking skills and understand English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions required.
• CPR and de-escalation certification may be required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility.

Responsabilidades

• Performs cleaning and custodial tasks in the facility: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing fixtures, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Operates cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, sweepers, and carpet cleaners as needed.
• Cleans rooms, baths, laboratories, offices and halls; changes bed linens and remakes beds after discharge when applicable.
• Discards waste, maintains clean storage areas, and transports supplies as required.
• Maintains infection control standards and adheres to safety guidelines.
