Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services in Austin, TX is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper (PRN) to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at Southpark Meadows Nursing and Rehab Center.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, restocking supplies, and following OSHA standards for infectious waste, with on-the-job training provided. High school diploma or equivalent is required; experience as a housekeeper or janitor is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, buffs, strips, washes and shampoos floor surfaces.
• Cleans and dusts furniture, closets, telephone areas and vents.
• Scours, polishes and sanitizes sinks, counters and waste receptacles.
• Empties waste receptacles and transports waste to outside storeroom as directed.
• Uses room deodorizer as necessary.
• Ensures paper supplies are always available.
• Washes windows and walls and maintains cleanliness of rooms.
• Follows OSHA standards for handling infectious waste.
