Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of insurance brokerage, healthcare risk management, or related business development experience.
• Proven success generating and closing new business within the healthcare industry.
• Deep understanding of healthcare insurance products, risk management services, and industry-specific exposures.
• Established network of healthcare industry decision-makers and referral sources.
• Strong consultative sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy focused on healthcare organizations, including hospitals and health systems.
• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, and strategic relationship development.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects and consistently meet production goals.
• Lead client and prospect presentations, demonstrating Howden's capabilities and value proposition.
• Identify and assess client risk exposures and collaborate with SMEs to develop tailored insurance and risk management solutions.
• Maintain understanding of market trends, healthcare regulations, and emerging industry risks.
• Develop strong relationships with insurance carriers and internal stakeholders to support client service and business development.
