Morrison Living in Wilmington, NC is hiring immediately for full and part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions. Location: The Commons at Brightmore, 2320 41st Street, Wilmington, NC 28403. Schedule: Monday through Sunday 6:00 am–10:00 am or 11:00 am–7:30 pm.

Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. You will prepare, present and serve food, perform prep work, ensure safety and sanitation, assist with inventory and serving customers, and adhere to company standards.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Basic food safety awareness helpful.
• Ability to work early shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following steps of service.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
