Responsibilities

• Assembles prepared food on trays for general and therapeutic diets; prepares special nourishments and snacks.
• Maintains tray line in a clean, neat, and orderly manner.
• Delivers food to patient floors and returns trucks to dishroom.
• Tends and loads dish machines; may wash pots and pans by hand.
• Delivers clean dishes and utensils to proper kitchen units.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and storage areas; performs cleaning duties as assigned.
