Denver Health is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician I to maintain floors, carpets, and hard surfaces across hospital facilities. Under supervision, you will perform interior/exterior cleaning tasks to sustain a clean, aseptic environment including patient and non-patient areas and waste handling.

Responsibilities include floor buffing/polishing, trash disposal, waste transport, equipment maintenance, and occasional training of staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment used to clean surfaces.
• Understanding of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions.

Responsabilités

• Buffs, polishes and strips floors using heavy equipment.
• Empty trash, linen, and garbage containers; handle hazardous waste per regulations.
• Transports and manages trash, recycling, medical waste, and linens.
• Performs routine maintenance of cleaning equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with cleaners and squeegees.
• Assists in training other employees.
