Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Floor Tech to perform daily cleaning of facility floors, ensuring a clean, attractive environment in accordance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, waxing, and assisting in evacuations, with emphasis on safety, attendance, and teamwork. High school diploma preferred; prior health care experience is a plus, and adherence to company policies is required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Prior health care experience preferred.
• Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Education
