Job summary

Cantex is seeking a Floor Tech in Texas to maintain floors across the facility, supporting infection prevention and resident satisfaction in a healthcare setting. You will perform floor care tasks and help uphold safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include operating floor care equipment, inspecting floors, and adhering to facility policies. The role supports environmental services and general maintenance in a long-term care or senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with floor care equipment preferred.
• Experience in floor maintenance or custodial services preferred.
• Ability to follow infection prevention and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Strip, wax, buff, burnish, polish, and maintain hard surface flooring.
• Maintain carpets, tile, vinyl and other floor surfaces with approved methods.
