Job summary

Olympic Medical Center on the beautiful North Olympic Peninsula is seeking a Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst to provide essential financial information and analysis to improve performance. You will assist with physician reporting and monthly GL closings, and prepare income statements for ancillary departments.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance (Master’s preferred for Senior) and experience in accounting, analysis, reporting and financial statement prep.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree including college level accounting and finance preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree including accounting and finance required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Two years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, statistical reporting and the preparation of financial statements preferred.
• Five years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, statistical reporting and the preparation of financial statements, and acted as lead or played a key role in processes improvements and implementations, required. OR three years of experience ... and a Master’s degree, and acted as lead or played a key role in processes improvements and implementations, required.

Responsibilities

• Provides financial information and analysis to improve OMC’s financial and operational performance.
• Responsible for financial analysis for the organization, assisting with physician reporting, assisting with the monthly general ledger closing.
• Prepares income statements for ancillary departments.
• Assists with internal and external audits.
• Performs special projects as assigned.
