Job summary

Care Initiatives, Iowa's leading nonprofit healthcare provider, invites motivated students to join its Healthcare-Driven Finance Internship, a paid program developed with Iowa State University's Healthcare Management Program. You will gain hands-on finance experience while exploring healthcare leadership across a growing network of facilities in Iowa and Nebraska.

During the internship, you’ll participate in real projects, collaborate with senior leaders, rotate through multiple finance

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in Iowa State University's Healthcare Management Program.
• Interest in healthcare leadership and finance.
• Willing to travel to multiple locations for broad learning.

Responsibilities

• Participate in meaningful finance projects and rotate through disciplines.
• Collaborate with senior healthcare and financial leaders across locations.
• Gain exposure to Home Office and facilities operations across Iowa and Nebraska.
• Develop leadership, communication, and business skills for your career in healthcare finance.
• Build professional relationships within a network serving communities in the region.
