Job summary

The Pavilion at Williamsburg Place in Williamsburg, VA is seeking an Accounting Controller to lead the facility's financial operations, including general accounting, payroll, purchasing and budgeting. The role reports to the CFO and supervises the finance staff to ensure accurate monthly closings and regulatory compliance.

With a bachelor’s degree in accounting and 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare, you will implement robust controls, standardize procedures, and provide

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Master’s Degree preferred in Business/Administration.
• Five+ years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience with AP and Payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Directs financial accounting, payroll, purchasing, budgeting, and reporting.
• Supervises finance staff and ensures timely monthly closings and GAAP compliance.
• Ensures regulatory reporting and prepares required financial statements.
