Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Mechanic I to learn and maintain movables equipment, electrical and plumbing systems across a large hospital campus in Cape Girardeau, MO. You will learn proper use of basic tools and safety practices while supporting Mercy's Environment of Care.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and some technical training; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and movable equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Licensure: must maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Learn operations for movabler equipment, electrical, plumbing and pneumatic tube systems.
